About the Role
As an Associate Analyst – Engagement Controller, you will play a key role in managing engagement financials and contributing to business decision-making processes. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data while ensuring accuracy and completeness. This role offers exposure to global teams and opportunities to work closely with Deloitte Switzerland offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Accuracy: You will gather data from various sources, ensuring its completeness and accuracy. This data will then be used to create comprehensive reports for the business.
- Report Creation: Based on the collected data, you will prepare detailed reports that provide insights for business finance.
- Maintaining Trackers: You will be responsible for maintaining multiple business-related trackers that provide crucial updates and insights.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit engagement financial reports to Business Finance teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Collaboration: Engage in professional communication with teams across Deloitte’s USI and Switzerland offices, ensuring clear and timely updates.
- Leadership Interaction: Participate in calls with Business Finance leadership, providing quality insights that help in decision-making.
- Contributing to Growth: Support the growth of Deloitte Switzerland’s Controller and Business Practice through your active contributions.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you’ll need the following:
- Experience: 0-1 year in a similar role, preferably involving financial analysis and reporting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to solve problems efficiently.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, including data validation and logical functions. You should be able to analyze large datasets and design reports using Excel.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Task Management: You should be highly self-motivated and capable of working both independently and under supervision.
Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory, the following skills will give you an edge:
- Working Knowledge of SAP: Familiarity with SAP is an added advantage.
- Data Handling: Expertise in managing large volumes of data with high accuracy and completeness.
Educational Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree: B.Com, BBA, or B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization.
