Karnataka’s Hubballi railway station is to get world’s
longest railway platform with 1,400 + meters and this will be inaugurated in
March 2021. Earlier the platform size was 440 meters.

Kerala is going to host 4th Ayurveda
Festival 2021 on March 12th to 19th 2021. This
festival is going to be organized by Centre of Innovation in science and social
Action (CISSA) and The
Ayurveda Medical Association of India(AMAI).

The 5day “National Folk Dance Festival” was held in Jammu from December 26 2020
and it was organized by Ministry of Culture, Govt of India.

“Consumer
confidence survey & Inflation expectations survey of Households” was launched by Reserve Bank of India for
Jan 2021.

Mondal becomes the 1st women Chairman of Steel
Authority of India (SAIL). She succeeded Anil Kumar Chaudary.

Former Indian Hockey Player & Olympic Medalist Michael Kindo Passed Away. His age is 73 and he won the
Hockey world cup in 1975 which is held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He also
received Arujna award in 1972 and he was the first sports person from tribal
background to receive Arjuna award.
10)
Buta
singh, former Home Minister and Governor of Bihar passed away at
the age of 86 years. He was the senior congress leader.

World’s Braille day was observed on 4
January 2021
